Million Hours

Empowering youth to transform anti-social behaviour through engaging community activities.

'

This Million Hours project allows us to offer extra youth work for young people in areas with high levels of antisocial behaviour within their communities and on their streets.

We are supporting The Acorn Centre and The Windmill Centre with their youth offers, including after-school sessions, holiday workshops and AQAs in Youth Leadership. We’ve been going in weekly throughout the year delivering a range of activities focusing on creative digital media, particularly music and radio sessions, targeting teenagers who are at risk of engaging in ASB.

The initiative is designed to foster long-term engagement by creating a supportive environment where young people are encouraged to build confidence and form trusted relationships through regular interaction with familiar faces.
