Talk Up Torbay film: Together we can make a difference
In January 2025, a group of young people from the Bay (Chad Nelson, Daniel-Barney Flaker, Ebony Ablett and Isaac Gill) became part of Cohort 3 of Sound Futures, an innovative creative employability project designed to empower young people through music and digital arts. These young people decided that they wanted to make a documentary about Torbay, capturing the voices of young people and other members of the community to share their experiences of Torbay, looking at the struggles but also looking at how positive change could be brought about.
They wanted to share some of the great community links and support services in the Bay so that other young people know where to go to connect with others but to also get the support they might need easily.
