Our first premises , Ocean Youth Studios, opened nearly 3 years ago in Winner Street and quickly became a hub for creatives, music production and radio. Young people feel safe here and can be themselves, regularly popping in unplanned just for a cup of tea and a chat. This space is making a real difference to the young people in Paignton. Ocean Youth Studios has an open-plan workshop space with current iMacs, a flat screen TV and a DJ Booth. Ocean Youth Studios also has 2 breakout spaces, a broadcast studio, a recording both, and a small kitchen. This premises is fully accessible including disabled toilet facilities.

Located at 52a Hyde Road in Paignton, Sound Communities newest premises houses our offices, a meeting/workshop space equipped with iMacs and music production equipment, 2 recording studios with iMacs, professional quality microphones, keyboards, radio equipment and an electric drum kit. We also have a large performance space with state- of-the-art audio and lighting and a 6 channel DJ controller. This room can be used as a delivery space and or meeting/conference room with a projector and space for up to 35 people to sit.

On site there is also a small kitchen. We also have a gender neutral toilet available.
