Are you 16 or 17? We have joined up with Checkpoint and Doorstep Arts to be able to offer a whole range of FREE activities!
All of these activities will focus on developing essential skills through creative media production including music-making, DJing, podcasting, photography, graphic design and videography. The young person will choose which area to work in. We have a team of young leaders who support these sessions. Click on this link to sign up:
Creative Production Sessions
A series of 8 x 1:1 sessions where you get to choose your area/s of interest and work closely with one of our team of specialist young leaders to make a track, music video, DJ mix, photography portfolio or podcast to be proud of.
Creative Media Lab
A series of 6 x 1.5hr sessions of small group work based around your particular area of creative media interest. This collaborative, project-based learning experience develops teamwork and culminates in a shared performance, stream or broadcast.
Work Placement
Take charge of your own direction and expand your employability skills through a focused 1-week work placement at the studios where you’ll gain a Level 2 AQA in an area of your choice, Youth Leadership for example, and become an active member of one of our youth-led production teams.
Doorstep are offering a range of production and drama activities focusing on developing leadership, teamwork, communication, creativity and collaboration skills through group sessions, community activity, project-based learning and event planning.
Checkpoint are offering Talking Therapy groups teaching lifelong strategies, tools and techniques which will help you to thrive in your personal and work life, skills you can use throughout your life to help you live your best life.
